So far, I have just printed the core. On my SV08, nearly 30 hours, with PCTG. I did it a bit slow as it failed the first time (printer teething problems). The model came out, just fine.
I will get around to the body soon.
I printed the core and extras using Bambu PLA CF , black for mechanicals, purple for pick ups cover. It went perfect, Bambu A1 0.4 nozzle hardened steel, pla cf profile on Bambu Studio, really excited to advance on this project, still decided which body shape to choose ot maybe i'll design something more Jaguar like.
All in all my best investment, a set of files that just worked from the first time and i'm not a 3d professional, so its great to avoid frustrations
Thank you so much for the review Juan! Glad to hear the parts printed perfectly for you without any issues, and thanks for sharing your material selection, nozzle type, and printing profile! Excited to see your finished build, and we would love to have a photo of your guitar in our Guitar Gallery! Happy printing, rock on!
I did print this with 75% infill to make it a little heavier and no flex.Works awesome!
Hey Dan, thanks for the review! Glad to hear that your 3D printed center core is nice and strong, and without flex! Rock on!
Very nice design. However, the Hardtrail core is designed for the neck you sell, but you don't sell your kits outside the United States. Most necks sold at retail have a rounded edge, not a straight one like yours.
